A family campsite in the Gorges du Tarn
Located in the heart of the regional park of the Grands Causses, at the gateway to the Causse Méjean, the ideal place to spend unforgettable family holidays. On the banks of the river Tarn with a view of the cornices sheltering colonies of griffon vultures, this is the ideal campsite for nature lovers.
Only 20 km from Millau and its monumental Viaduct, Le Taranis campsite is ideally located: the starting point for all your outdoor activities between Aguessac, Le Rozier, the Regional Natural Park of the Grands Causses and the Cévennes National Park.
Get on your canoe. Put on your trainers and hike the steep paths.
Stop and admire the panorama: Breathe!
Our new life: your successful holiday!
It is a real pleasure for Stéphanie and Christian to welcome you in a family campsite in the heart of this exceptional nature!
Thanks to its location, the Taranis offers direct access to the river, a view of the limestone cliffs, and the ballet of the vultures: these aerial sailors who invite us to fly high!
The campsite’s 3-star services
For a real moment of comfort during your holidays, you will find at your place of stay :
# A bread and pastry service every morning
# A snack bar with local products, roasted chicken, fresh Chips.
# A snack bar with local drinks represented by Le triangle d’or Marcillac-Millau-Le fel; the Aveyron wine route is definitely a guided tour à la carte! But also apple juice from our local producers.

A stay close to the water
If today the descent of the Tarn gorges by canoe remains a must, in the past it was done with the boatmen of La Malène. At a time when roads barely existed and the Tarn was a means of communication for men, animals and goods.
Pitch your tent by the river and sleep with your feet in the water and your head in the stars!
Cool off in the emerald waves of the Tarn when the sun teases you with its rays or enjoy our swimming pool (heated from June).
Comfortable accommodation in the Gorges du Tarn
- For an immersion as close as possible to nature, we propose our mobile homes with 2 bedrooms for 4 people with all the comfort including kitchen, bathroom and sanitary.
- For a natural glamping experience, sleep soundly in our French-made tent lodges. A change of scenery guaranteed!
- For a minimalist immersion, prefer the PAC: the DECATHLON camping loan in partnership with the FFCC: you travel light and your tent for 6 people is ready on your arrival.
Aveyron at your fingertips
Discover the Château de Peyrelade and the troglodyte hamlets of Saint Marcellin and Eglazines, a small chapel watches over the ruins of these villages and the famous spring maintained with passion.
Take a flight with the vultures from the Vulture House Belvedere, a must-see visit to enjoy with your family.
Meet our local producers at the night markets in Le Rozier on Wednesdays, in Liaucous on Tuesdays or in Meyrueis on Wednesdays.

Very friendly staff, clean toilets, quiet area. Simply excellent.
A very nice stay in a mobile home, a quiet family campsite on the banks of the Tarn and not far from Le Rozier, which is quite lively in August. At the end of the season we had the swimming pool all to ourselves!
