Located in the heart of the regional park of the Grands Causses<\/strong>, at the gateway to the Causse M\u00e9jean, the ideal place to spend unforgettable family holidays. On the banks of the river<\/strong> Tarn with a view of the cornices sheltering colonies of griffon vultures, this is the ideal campsite for nature lovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only 20 km from Millau<\/strong> and its monumental Viaduct, Le Taranis campsite<\/strong> is ideally located: the starting point for all your outdoor activities between Aguessac, Le Rozier, the Regional Natural Park of the Grands Causses<\/strong> and the C\u00e9vennes National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get on your canoe. Put on your trainers and hike the steep paths.
Stop and admire the panorama: Breathe!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a real pleasure for St\u00e9phanie and Christian<\/strong> to welcome you in a family campsite in the heart of this exceptional nature!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campsite is open from 30 April to 12 September 2026<\/strong>. Reception is open from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 7 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to its location, the Taranis offers direct access to the river<\/strong>, a view of the limestone cliffs, and the ballet of the vultures: these aerial sailors who invite us to fly high!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome guests with disabilities in the best possible conditions: adapted toilet facilities<\/strong>, level access to the swimming pool and accessible camping pitches<\/strong>. For further information or to help you plan your stay as effectively as possible, please contact reception. Please note<\/strong>: there is no adapted accommodation available on site.<\/p>\n\n

If today the descent of the Tarn gorges by canoe<\/strong> remains a must, in the past it was done with the boatmen of La Mal\u00e8ne. At a time when roads barely existed and the Tarn was a means of communication for men, animals and goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pitch your tent by the river<\/a> and sleep with your feet in the water and your head in the stars! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cool off in the emerald waves of the Tarn as the sun teases you with its rays or enjoy our heated swimming pool<\/a> (heated from June)with its balneo<\/strong> area for a moment of relaxation.
